Experienced Senior PR/Communications Consultant
Account Manager Level
Are you an experienced PR communications strategist interested in working in one of Canada’s foremost communication firms focused on architecture and design?
Do you have a passion for how architecture and design are affecting and reflecting culture today?
You have developed an excellent track record for understanding a client’s business objectives and challenges, an ability to provide clients with strategic counsel, a deep-rooted understanding of the architecture/design industry, and a proven ability to lead an integrated communications program.
You bring experience building and executing campaigns, stakeholder relations and media strategies. You enjoy finding new ways to make complex information easier to understand, breaking down difficult concepts into succinct content. You are constantly looking for new ways to reach audiences across a variety of media and channels and have a proven ability to work with a team, troubleshoot client requests and oversee daily media and social media monitoring and reporting. You show initiative, thrive on accountability and results, as well as positive collaboration and mentorship.
- Participate in the strategic planning, execution and evaluation of client communication programs
- Support client management and strategic communication programs, creative, digital, earned and paid media
Lead communications and media relations programs including strategic plans and briefing docs, project descriptions, press releases, backgrounders, fact sheets, pitches, social media copy, award submissions, etc.
Conduct media outreach
Develop and deliver program reporting and evaluation
Day-to-day client relationship management

What you’ll need to get here:
- 3-5 years’ experience in a communications role within an agency, an architecture or interior design firm, or a related field/organization
- Undergraduate degree from an accredited post-secondary educational institution
Strong stakeholder relations, media relations and/or campaign/community engagement skills
Natural curiosity and genuine passion for storytelling
Creative thinker and problem solver
Experience managing rapid response situations, identify and highlighting emerging issues
Superb project management skills with the ability to work independently and move campaigns forward from concept to execution
Excellent writing abilities; able to tell a story with a clear message and to make sometimes complex information comprehensible to general audiences
Familiarity with media and social media monitoring tools are an asset
Client service focus with strong bias for action; ability to build trust and rapport with clients and satisfy deliverables to the highest standards
People management skills
High attention to detail
